Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy, Episode 39

Last Time: The Rangers faced their greatest foe: the budget shortfall, and were forced to master the technique of the clip show in order to defeat it!

On Cap'n Mutiny's ship, the Captain is instructing his new monster, Hexuba to kill the damn Rangers. On Terra Venture, parts of the colony are being evacuating, and Damon helps a girl named Terry with her car. Back on the ship o' evil, Hexuba is cooking up something bad with her crystal ball, but it's probably not going to work.

Meanwhile, Damon gets some flowers from "the girls." It's good to know that even in the face of near-certain doom the florist industry survives. The flowers are poisoned and put Damon to sleep. He dreams that he's in some otherwise unusuable Sentai footage. Credits! So, the producers had completely run out of cash by this point, hadn't they?

Damon fights a bit more in his dream, and then wakes up. He discusses the situation with Kai and Leo. Kai smells the flowers and is also poisoned. He decides to take a nap. On the Megaship, Leo arrives to find Alpha fixing Damon's Jet Jammer, which had been badly damaged in Damon's dream. He realizes that this is going to be one of those things and tries to call Kai and Damon. Alas, the two are already asleep and experiencing a shared dream. They fight off some pirate mooks.

Later, in the real world, Karone and Maya find some flowers outside their apartment. They get sent to the dream world too. In the dream, they catch up to Kai and Damon and fight some more of those pirate guys. Leo bursts into the Galactic Apartment and realizes that he's the last Ranger standing. Leo, however, decides to sniff the flowers because he's a complete moron. I mean, he looked like he suspected the flowers of being the nexus of the troubles, but still smelled them regardless. He's able to radio Mike, though. Mike shows up and also smells the flowers and only then do the brothers realize the scope of their idiocy.

In the dream, the Rangers are still waging their pointless battle against the pirate mooks. On Terra Venture, Mike is able to catch up to the flower delivery man, and finds out where the flowers have been coming from. Leo falls asleep and it's up to Mike to save the day.

Mike sleepily walks through the colony looking for the florist's shop, and, well, it's not really that exciting watching a guy try not to fall asleep. Meanwhile, the Rangers are still using up some Sentai footage. Saban payed for it, and he's going to use it, damn it! Hexuba decides to send a monster into the dream to finish them off.

Mike finally reaches the storefront but finds it empty. Upon further investigation, he finds his way into Hexuba's chamber. She shoots Mike with some sort of sleeping ray. In the dream, the Rangers are losing. But then Mike grabs a mirror which reflects the sleeping ray around the room and breaks a crystal ball that Hexuba had been using. This somehow breaks the spell, which allows the Rangers to kill the monster, which Damon does by clawing his way through the monster's heart. Megazord Fight! It's kind of a bummer that the Stratoforce and Centaurus Megazords only exist to soften up the monster for the Galaxy Megazord to finish off. Hexuba vows revenge.

Later, the Rangers wake up and Damon gets some flowers from Terry, which he immediately throws away. Karone explains that Damon's allergic to flowers, and Maya manages to fuck that cover story up by embellishing that flowers give Damon nightmares. The Rangers all laugh and Terry presumably leaves the Galactic Apartment as quickly as possible. Show Over!
