Power Rangers: Wild Force, Episode 10

Last Time: The Rangers got another new zord....for the fifth straight episode....and some more zords get introduced this episode....Christ....


Anyway, Master Org is still mulling over his confrontation with Cole a couple of episodes ago. This leads him to summon a new general named Nayzor to help. We meet Nayzor, and it's nice of the writers to introduce the first gay villain in Power Rangers history. Master Org gives him a secret mission....but we don't find out what it is yet.

At the Animarium, the Rangers are boasting about how nothing can stop them now. Cole notices that it's a full moon, and claims that it's a bad omen.....because werewolves attack during full moons. This freaks Max out, because he's basically a ten year-old in an adult's body. Cole explains that it's all a joke, but Max is still scared....as well he should be. Shayla has spent the entire scene in some sort of drugged-out haze looking at the moon. Cole notices and finds it suspicious, but Shayla has no idea why she's staring at the moon.

You know who does know? Nayzor, who decides to release the awesomest character of the season. The next morning, Cole eats some eggs....I don't care. Okay, now Nayzor is about to unleash Ze-Oh, for fuck's sake, there's a filler Org this episode? Toxica and Jindrax orient the new Org, and the Rangers fight it out. Oh, it's a Vacuum Cleaner Org in case you care.

Meanwhile, Nayzor is finally ready to call forth Senor Kickass, and this alerts Shayla to the fact that the Rangers are about to get mauled...not that she's able to transmit the information to the Rangers in any helpful fashion. Nayzor comes upon a sarcophagus and makes some remarks about the Rangers being doomed.

But wait! The Rangers have to finish off the filler Org first. Savage Slash! Megazord Battle! Elephant Zord Finisher! Done!

Shayla finally figures out that something bad is about to awaken in the forest. She sends the Rangers to stop it. The Rangers follow by running on all fours at super-speed...it looks very stupid, and does the Rangers no good as the light of the full moon opens up the sarcophagus before they arrive. Zen-Aku wakes up, and celebrates his release by beating the shit out of the Rangers. What does he want? Vengeance on the Power Rangers for rather unclear reasons! His first step: Stealing the Elephant gem from Alyssa and turning it and its corresponding zord into stone. He then decides that he's going to call it a day there and brutalize the Rangers some more later, and leaves their unconscious bodies in the forest. Show Over!
