Power Rangers: Time Force, Episode 15

Last Time: Eric and Wes trudged through a jungle for twenty minutes, accomplishing absolutely nothing in the process.

The Q-Rex continues to rampage throughout the city, and the Rangers call on the Time Force Megazord. The Q-Rex starts chewing up the megazord and Eric blames himself. Well, no, actually this isn't his fault when you think about it. Credits!

In the future, Alex sends the Time Shadow to help out, and since Alex is ten times more competent than anyone else, it actually manages to hurt the Q-Rex....but not enough to avoid the Time Force Megazord getting broken and the Rangers being ejected. The Q-Rex, still damaged, retreats to a cave.

Meanwhile, Eric has decided to take this opportunity to once again ask for the captaincy of the Silver Guardians, what with him being the Quantum Ranger and all. Mr. Collins makes it clear that only a Ranger with his own megazord is fit to lead the team, and Eric heads out to get the damned Q-Rex so he can get a promotion. It's an odd little scene.

Back at the clock tower, Circuit explains that the Q-Rex is going to heal itself and attack again. This leads Wes to go and try to reason with Eric. Wes immediately asks for the Quantum Morpher back, and that pretty much kills the conversation dead. Eric also intimates that he's about to take control of the entire Ranger team, which confuses Wes and the audience.

It becomes a bit more clear almost immediately when Mr. Collins shows up at the clock tower and offers to buy out the Rangers. Eric explains that if the Rangers get bought out, he'll be the leader, and even fantasizes what that would look like. Wes doesn't believe that they'll sell out, and Eric points out that it would be a hell of a lot easier to capture Ransik with the backing of a large company and a private army of goons. Yeah, but that would involve the Rangers working with the genetically impure, which is kind of against their code. Wes decides to take the morpher from Eric by force, and a fight breaks out.

Elsewhere, Commandocon reactivates the Q-Rex and sets him loose on the city. This breaks up Eric and Wes' fight as they run towards the Q-Rex. They meet up with the other Rangers and Eric learns that they rejected Mr Collins' offer. They then call on the Time Force Megazord. This leads Commandocon to grow to giant size in order to help out the Q-Rex.

Eric's magical armband tells him to destroy the device Commandocon put on the Q-Rex in order to gain control. He does, and now Eric finally will have access to the executive bathroom. He orders it to turn into a megazord and kill Commandocon with its shoulder-mounted laser cannons. The other Rangers debate the merits of Eric.

Eric once again asks Mr. Collins for that promotion, and well, Mr. Collins is out of crazy demands to give Eric and so gives him control of the Silver Guardians. Back at the clock tower, Wes points out that they probably would capture Ransik faster if they teamed up with Mr. Collins, and Jen deploys her usually bitchy sense of humor to dismiss that idea and insult Wes at the same time. Katie claims that Jen's "never told a joke in her life," yeah, and I can see why. Show Over!
