Battle of the Zords

Power Rangers: Wild Force, Episode 11

Last Time: Zen-Aku showed up and laid a hurting on the Rangers, before deciding to save some for next episode.....right now!

On the Animarium, the Rangers are still recovering from last episode. Alyssa recalls the severe beating she took, as well as losing the Elephant Zord. Alyssa asks Shayla what will become of the Elephant Zord, and Shayla doesn't know. What a shock! This causes Alyssa to freak out about what happened. Taylor asks Shayla about a Wolf Org and the whole vengeance business. In a twist, Shayla doesn't fucking know. The Rangers decide to rest, given that they've all been badly injured.

Somewhere else, Nayzor reports to Master Org about how awesome Zen-Aku is. Toxica is jealous and claims that there's something off about Zen-Aku. Well, he didn't die horrible, so I guess that does mark him out as different from your typical Org. Out in the plains, Zen-Aku and Nayzor discuss the situation, and Zen-Aku elects to keep the Elephant Gem, as well as making it clear that he only works for himself. Jindrax and Toxica watch from a distance, and decide to kill Zen-Aku before he becomes a threat to them. It takes Zen-Aku about five seconds to put the pair in their place.

Later, the Rangers are back up to full strength when they notice that Alyssa is gone. Taylor realizes that this probably means that Alyssa is about to do something profoundly stupid. And indeed, she's planning some sort of ambush on Zen-Aku, who is playing a flute and remembering the time that the proto-Rangers from 3000 years ago sealed him away. Zen-Aku then proceeds to go down to the riverside and rage at his own reflection.

The other Rangers, in the mean time, are looking for Alyssa. Shayla decides to talk to the animal zords, and asks what happened to the elephant. Alyssa then runs into Toxica and Jindrax, and Alyssa makes another joke about Toxica's age, which leads to the villainess blasting her before Alyssa can morph.

Zen-Aku finds Alyssa lying in the wild, and treats her leg injury before she wakes up, and then takes off. The other Rangers find her, and Danny asks who treated her. Alyssa has no idea and Jindrax and Toxica show up to briefly menace them before everyone hears Zen-Aku's flute music of imminent ass-kicking. Toxica and Jindrax retreat, but the Rangers aren't so lucky. Zen-Aku pulls out a giant crescent-shaped sword and starts messing the Rangers up.

The Rangers morph, which does them no good. The Rangers taunt Zen-Aku about being the only ones with zords, and Zen-Aku responds by summoning three zords of his own with his flute. It's the Alligator, Wolf, and Hammerhead Zords, and they're out for blood. The Rangers call on their own zords, and a fight begins on both the zord and normal-sized levels. Zen-Aku wins both handily. Having done so, he decides to end the fight so that he can crush the Rangers again tomorrow, because he hates them so much that it's not enough to beat them, he has to beat them repeatedly.

Toxica finally remembers that she saw some wolf guy at the final battle 3000 years ago, but can't recall anything else. Master Org and Nayzor discuss the Zen-Aku situation, and explain that Zen-Aku is eventually going to remember something that will leave him unwilling to destroy the Rangers.

Finally, Shayla has also remembered something, namely that Zen-Aku's zord used to be good, but the villain corrupted them. Alyssa whines about the elephant some more, and worries that it's going to become evil. She asks Shalya if such a thing is possible and Shayla....doesn't know. Well, at least she's consistent. Show Over!
